Geneva Airport: elegant audio branding

After a call for bids, Dissonances was chosen for the creation of Genève Aéroport [Geneva Airport]'s sonic identity. For almost 10 years, this audio branding has been played over the airport's communication. It can be heard on social media or in the air terminal. 

Luxury, calm, serenity... Such words describe the customer's experience wished by Genève Aéroport - an international hub and a gateway to Switzerland. Dissonances expresses the high-end positioning of the airport: excellence, elegance and modernity.

When audio branding takes off

This sonic identity is built around an ascending melody, which is reminiscent of a take-off. The sounds are clear and pure; the music is aerial, soft and sober, like the brand's visual identity.  

A feminine and lyrical voice joins a string orchestra to express a universe inspired by classical music, its demanding nature and the prestige of opera.

The rainstick evokes Geneva's water jet while the marimba and the handpan bring a hint of exotism... A feeling of evasion.
